Introducing Rombo, a two part set of bottle openers, both for bottle caps and wine corks.
This design was born through the influence of the mediterranean as a location but also as a way of living. The shape itself, was drawn from plastic floats found in fishing nets.
The design tries to evoque modesty, but within strength and serenity it is in constant dialect with itself, representing chaos through the coloured terrazzo, and calm through the shape.
There are three different colour combinations. All of them three are made with different terrazzo colours, with CNC milling. The rest of parts, consisting of the corckscrew part and its attachement, and the lever piece on the beer openers, are be casted with stainless steel.
