Designed following a given look and feel board, that evokes values such as solemnity, warmth, sensuality, and a care for crafted and natural elements.
Different foam prototypes to test handle ergonomics.
The technique used for industrialisation would consist of a top CNC milled handle to achieve the exact user dimensions, complemented with steam bending of the lower beam to keep grain continuity, and ensure a more comfortable ergonomics.
The wood on production would be oak due to its strength and durability, and the bend can be easily done due to it being so subtle.
Its finish and colour come from having firstly, two layers of a dark brown water stain, followed with two final layers of a varnish that gives it a slight
shiny tone.
This material and colour give the design the connection to nature, enhanced by the mix of curves, sharp edges and straight lines
